Reminder – we’ll be hosting a chili potluck at Tristin’s house on Sunday Feb. 26 at 2pm. Sign up to bring chili, toppings, cornbread, drinks, sides, or whatever. There will be vegetarian chili. Please comment in your RSVP for what you’re bringing – it can be as simple as sharp cheese and fritos! You DON’T have to bring chili.

There will be plenty of milk in case the chili gets too hot!

Our annual Chocolate Party was sweet, as always. Thanks to lovely hosts, Susan & Dale, we had plenty of room to meander through the sea of sugar. We feasted on candy, cupcakes, cookies, and pies. We also tasted wine meant to be paired with chocolate and beer with hints of chocolate. As the sun set, we toasted ourselves by the fire and then waddled and rolled ourselves home to enjoy the sugar coma. Bliss.

It’s time — well, okay, just a little bit late — for ANK’s annual Anniversary Dinner! This year the Dinner will be in March.
For our newest members, the Anniversary Dinner is held at a special restaurant chosen by our group. In previous years we’ve visited restaurants such as Maggiano’s Little Italy, Fonda San Miguel, and the Roaring Fork.
Nominations for this year’s Dinner will be accepted until Sunday, February 19. If there is not a clear frontrunner in the nominations we will hold a vote from the top nominees.

Party Games include board games, card games, word games, etc. We all vote on what we want to play.
Examples of games we play are: Wits & Wagers, Quiddler, Scrabble Slam, Guillotine, all types of Fluxx, games from Cheap Ass Games, Nuts!, Charades, Mexican Train, Apples to Apples, Wise and Otherwise, and Uno.
