The German Chocolate Pie was not a family recipe, but rather from a pie cookbook that ANK member Holly had given me as a gift. I am glad everyone enjoyed it, though, and special thanks to Holly for giving me that book.

Hey, I didn’t know where to email my suggestions for the Restaurant Explorers but sometime we should try out Habana’s down on SoCo. It is cuban food with a an awesome cuban atmosphere. It is located on 2728 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. It is really south but the drive is worth it, and there are so neat boutique type shopping and live music places right up the street for anyone that wants to come early and explore South Congress.

This is awesome! We are a young educated couple in our 30′s who have decided to not have children, most of our friends have kids or are trying to have kids and that’s ALL they talk about. Interested in meeting more people our age.

Thanks, I’ll look into that. I didn’t see anything for San Antonio on the web-site. Of course, in the city with the highest teenage pregnancy rate, I wouldn’t expect a group like this to exist here.

Welcome to our site, Amanda! Please keep an eye on our calendar (currently in transition from “old” to “new”) for updates on events. You might also check out the Childfree Meetup in Austin. Finally, I think there was some interest in starting a San Antonio group a few years ago, so you might check with No Kidding to see if they have that person’s contact info.
