Hello childfree friends. The votes are in and this month’s movie is The Rum Diary starring Johnny Depp. We’ll be watching it on the “big screen” at Lori & Emil’s theater in northwest Austin.

Our apologies for the late notice for May’s RE/CE event. We were out of town and didn’t remember to set this all up before we left. #sadpanda

Anyway, thanks to Emil, we have a great chance to visit Red’s Porch on the 19th!

Self-described as Half-Cajun, Half-TexMex, and Half-Southern. Of course, half-texmex must really be 1/2 of a 1/3 since texmex itself is a combo. Anyway, we currently have a reservation for 8 outside (which we can adjust as numbers warrant, as in pour some sugar on me….) at 6pm. We told them 8 since that is the minimum for a reservation.

So, please arrive by 5:45pm because we may have a chance to sit upstairs on the outside deck, space permitting.
