Austin CHILDFREE! sponsors several regular social activities a month with occasional special events. We talk about
careers, studies, travels, interests, and just about anything else... but
rarely, if ever, about children. It's not a taboo topic; it's simply not our
focus. Check out our monthly Calendar for
a list of our regular events. We are always open to suggestions for other
activities. If you have an idea for a special event, join our Enthusiasts
list or talk to one of our regular members.
Additionally, we welcome your
suggestions for new movies, restaurants, bars, and books for our current ongoing
events.

Our Monthly Supper is always well attended and is an ideal event for
new members to come and meet us for the first time.
How can we eat at the same place so often? A wide menu caters to
every taste; you're sure to find something you like. Chicken-fried
steak, huge burgers, a five-vegetable plate, great service and a big
table set in the back make this one of our most popular events.
The North Austin Hoovers is located at 13376 Research Blvd, #400
Austin - at the junction of Anderson Mill Road and US-183. Their phone number is
512-335-0300. The
restaurant is easy to find in a great location and fun, with great (and affordable)
food.
Plan to arrive by 5:45pm so we can be seated as a group (they will not
let us make group reservations ahead of time as we never know how many
folks to expect). We'll be in the indoor waiting area until we are
seated at 6:00pm. If you arrive after 6:00pm, just ask
the host for the CHILDFREE! group or look for our sign, which
is always posted on our table.

Austin CHILDFREE! for Party Games Night - Held at varied members' households.
The idea behind Party Games Night is for members of Austin CHILDFREE! to gather
together in the comfort of a member's home and enjoy playing some social
games such as Charades, Pictionary, Apples to Apples, Scene It, etc. Leave
your inhibitions at the door!
Each month those attending should bring their favorite party game, and
everyone will decide what game or games sound like fun.
